Abstract

This study analyzes the economic impact of tourism on local communities in Central America. Through case studies and economic data analysis, the research highlights both positive and negative effects, including job creation and cultural exchange, as well as challenges such as environmental degradation. The findings underscore the need for sustainable tourism practices that benefit local economies while preserving cultural heritage.
