Evaluating the Effects of Backing from the Organization and Well-being at Work about Creative Work Practices: The Organizational Dedication's Mediating Role
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of workplace well-being and employee organizational support (organizational support for employees, job satisfaction) as independent variables, on creative work attitude and organizational citizenship attitude (progressive work behavior, organizational citizenship behavior) as a dependent variable, with organizational commitment acting as a mediating factor. The type of study is descriptive and falls under applied research. The study population consists of faculty members from universities in District 23 of Tehran, with a total of 315 observations. Using Cochrane's formula, the sample size was determined, and the result was 173 (watches(. The results highlight the importance of having effective human resource management systems that support employees' creative thinking and good citizenship. The achievement of such systems depends critically on organizational commitment, which acts as a mediator between employee satisfaction and organizational support. Through the mediating mechanism of organizational commitment, this study has come up with a model that explains how organizational well-being and support affect employee behavior. It recommends that employee well-being and support should be placed first in creating a supportive work environment, and this work is of great importance for companies looking to enhance employee creativity and innovation.
