Parapsychology and Technology: The Future of Psychic Research in Africa
Abstract
This research explores the future of parapsychological research in Africa through the lens of technological advancements. It examines the potential of emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence, to facilitate the study of psychic phenomena. Through interviews with researchers and technologists, the study discusses innovative approaches to data collection and analysis that could enhance empirical validation of psychic experiences. The findings suggest that technology can bridge the gap between anecdotal evidence and scientific inquiry, providing new avenues for understanding human consciousness. Additionally, the research highlights the importance of ethical considerations and cultural sensitivity when employing technology in parapsychological studies. By advocating for interdisciplinary collaboration between parapsychology and technology, this study aims to inspire future research endeavors that respect cultural contexts while advancing the scientific exploration of psychic phenomena in Africa.
