Abstract

This article examines the impact of globalization on income distribution in Ghana, analyzing how increased integration into the global economy has influenced wealth disparities within the country. It explores various dimensions of globalization, including trade liberalization, foreign investment, and technology transfer, and their effects on different socioeconomic groups. The research employs empirical data to assess changes in income inequality, identifying both beneficiaries and those adversely affected by globalization. It discusses the role of government policies in mitigating negative impacts and promoting inclusive growth. The findings reveal that while globalization has the potential to enhance economic growth, it also poses challenges to equitable income distribution, necessitating strategic interventions to ensure that the benefits of globalization are more evenly shared among the population.
