Gender Equality and Social Enterprises in Argentina

Abstract

This study investigates the role of gender equality in the development of social enterprises in Argentina. Through qualitative interviews with social entrepreneurs, the research examines how gender-inclusive practices influence business success and social impact. Findings reveal that social enterprises led by women tend to prioritize community engagement and social responsibility. However, challenges such as access to funding and networking opportunities are also highlighted. The study proposes strategies for promoting gender equality in the social enterprise sector, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and capacity building. This research contributes to the literature on social entrepreneurship and gender studies, offering insights for policymakers and practitioners.
