Technological Innovations in Agricultural Accounting: A Case Study of Argentina
Abstract
This research focuses on technological innovations in agricultural accounting practices within Argentina. It examines how advancements in technology, such as precision farming and agricultural software, are transforming accounting methods in the agricultural sector. The study employs a case study approach, analyzing the experiences of five leading agricultural firms. Findings indicate that technology enhances data accuracy, improves financial reporting, and facilitates compliance with environmental regulations. However, challenges related to the cost of technology adoption and the need for skilled personnel are also discussed. The research provides recommendations for agricultural firms to optimize their accounting practices through technology while ensuring sustainability. This study contributes to the literature on agricultural management accounting and technology integration.
